Bozidar Damjanovski

… Damjanovski occupies much that is related to the existence of humanistic, and especially a tragic transience, but also the sublimity of birth, creation and duration. The iconography of  Damjanovski is extremely designed and every detail important in the whole plastic and conceptual structure. Because of this, we are confident that imminent serious “reading” and interpretation of its meaning. The answers to many questions through the topic puts, we easily found in the pictorial qualities of his works, the beauty of the painted in superior knowledge of anatomy, in the skill of drawing, in the successful shortening, in extraordinary materialization in tonal fugues in refined warm range. From all we discover not only the performing safeness, but also the commitment to art from that swarm deeply thoughtful works. Sometimes it’s in the tissue of colored matter entered  the sand, which Gordana Jocić, quite correctly, interpreted “as a stretched time from sand watch, TIME as a historical concept and time deposition image”. While approaching hyper realistic procedure, he quite far from this direction. Damjanovski does not provide exact verismo, bare picture of everyday life, but forms refines by feelings, and with kind of “aesthetics which is too real” open metaphysical expanse of spirit. In doing so, we are convinced, that in his creative work there is germ of the new renaissance. With him, as with the Renaissance artist, “possible to abolish the opposition between essence and illusion of understanding of what is seen – a scientific analysis, artistic and philosophical contemplation. In imitation of some form – such as the human body – are therefore invested all the spiritual power of the artist”

(M.B.Protic, shape and time, 162). And not only so, Bozidar Damjanovski is the artist and person who is interested in cosmological secrets and aspires to noble goals: reaching the beauty, goodness and harmony, eternal ideals to be persued, and which the artists will always come back. Whether it will be transferred to life? That’s better not to think about it.
